Morning GloryYellow RoosterWall Hook When I lived in England for Many years I remember visiting friends in the country and they had a very similar design in several of the windows in the Kitchen featuring a Rooster growning at the sun. This was done in Lead in the windows and this is a very similar design made using cast iron. This Hook feature the head of a Rooster Crowing at the Morning Sun in all it's Glory. A great addition to your kitchen decor or even have a line of them in you mud room welcoming your guest to hang their hackets. The circular design measures 5 3/4 inches in diameter, the total length (or height) of the hook is about 8 1/2 inches approximately. The actual hook opening (from the back of the balled end to the next part of the hook behind it) measures about 1 3/4 inches long with a balled end for safety. The depth of the curved section (from the tip of the balled end to the bottom of the curve) is about 1 1/4 inches approximately. Produced in a shabby yellow color, designed to age ungracefully and wear and flake as time goes on, (we suggest a protected lacquer coat if you want to protect you hooks finish though this is an option for the winning bidder to carry out). Comes with a fixing screw that measures 1 inch long, this screw is designed to match your hook though you may need to purchase a longer one from a hardware store if the screw does not meet your requirements.
