Original full size British 1914-1919 World War 1 victory medal with officially impressed naming on the edge to: 1187  CLK . J . R . HARDCASTLE .  I. W. T. J R Hardcastle served overseas as a Clerk in the Inland Water Transport during the Great War. Medals named to this small specialist unit are very rare to the market. Well worth further research.  The medal is in good condition but would benefit from a good clean. Sorry about the absence of ribbon, replacement ribbon can usually be found at reasonable prices from other sellers on ebay See photos.
