Al.This delightful lamp is rustic, yet has classic elegant lines - perfect in a formal room or cashual decor theme as well! Standing 23" tall, the lamp has great proportions and is a nice size - not too small that it couldn't be used on bedroom night stands, but large enough for use in a livingroom! The base is all metal - the bottom measures 6" in diameter and has a rustic "pounded metal" look. Rising in the center is a 1/2" diameter post surounded by the spiral twists and capped off with a w" wide plate. The center post continues into the lamp assembly - a UL Listed twist switch fixture rated for 60 Watt standard bulbs. The base is coated with a baked-on mottled finish - coloration ranges from copper to deep browns. Please click on my photos to get up close and see the finish - it's quite nice! Overall the lamp's color is chocolate. Up on top is a unique and quality shade - it is all cloth - no plastic inner lining. The color seems bright white when the lamp is turned off. But it's really a creamy eggshell - and it becomes more obvious when switched on. It has a fine linen texture and really gives off good bright light! The frame of the shade collapes for shipping (see my pics) - to raise the shade simply pop 3 metal frames into their locking positions. The shade mounts to the lamp's bronze hoop and locks down with a matching marble finial. It measures about 9.5" tall with a 13.25" diameter. Overall, this is a fantastic lamp for just about any area - picture one or more in room of your choice! Shipping: For US customers I ship this item via UPS Ground.
