The 1,800 watt heating element is fully encased within the 18" x 11.5" cooking plate for even heat distribution. With the variable temperature controller you can maintain the perfect temperature from 0-400°F. Grease from food channels away to the removable drip tray beneath the dishwasher safe cooking plate. Grill on one side, griddle on the other. Extra large cooking surface, 18" x 11.5". Nonstick coating, Xylan Eterna™, is now a 2 coat process that is 7 times stronger than the coating of our old grill.
