Alarm System Complete Wireless Autodial Alarm System About The alarm comprises one PIR unit and one Door Sensor, two remote control alarm activators/deactivators as well as all the accessories required to get the system up and running. Advantage This alarm system incorporates an autodial feature which in the case of an intrusion will dial a pre-entered phone number to alert the owner to the intrusion. The included internal horn (110dB) will also sound to alert those in proximity to the intruder attack. The alarm can be relied upon to dial in any circumstance as even if power is removed, the alarm can operate for a few days on its backup battery. A panic button is provided on the front of the alarm system to allow easy triggering of the alarm if required. Zones The Alarm can set a number of zones, for example, you could have the PIR and Door Sensor set within different zones and then be able to set the alarm to just one of the components. Of course, if you were to purchase further sensors, the ability to manage your zones could mean a more flexible alarm. Installation There is no setup required wit this alarm, you simply power on and it will be ready to go. The door sensor has been pre-paired to allow harmonious operation! All fixings are provided to allow a simple installation of the door sensor into your home. The alarm system must be connected to a phone line for it to alert to an intrusion using the Autodial feature. The alarm system is configured through the use of a regular telephone. The instruction manual will tell you how to set up a phone number into the alarm which will be called in the event of an intrusion. Wireless The Door Sensor is battery powered with an average life time of the batteries of around 1-2 years. UPS The alarm is connected via an adaptor to maintain a charge on the unit however, the alarm also has a battery backup incorporated into it. This allows the alarm to operate for up to 24 hours if power is lost. Upgradability The alarm system can incorporate a large number of extra component to suit almost any home. Alongside the conventional PIR or Door Sensor, we also offer smoke detectors; the Ion smoke detectors will incorporate into the system to give an audible warning to you if smoke is sensed. They can also be setup to call you if smoke is detected at your home whilst you are not there. Panic Buttons can be provided for those that require help in an emergency situation, again, these can be incorporated into the system to activate the alarm whenever the portable (or mountable) panic button is pressed. Each extra component that is added to the system requires no more than 1 minute to set up with the main unit. A simple sequence of button presses on the main unit will get it ready to accept any accessory; all instructions are given with the unit.
