Up for Sale is a Whirlpool Water Valve part # 358277. This is a OEM (FSP Factory Service Part) new & unused. This water valve is commonly used on Whirlpool made washers that are belt drive. The valve body is Yellow & stamped N-50. This valve has a 1/2" outlet & standard garden hose inlet connections. It is an Energy Conserving Valve: When a "Warm" wash or rinse selection is made, this valve gives 50% cold water. The previous blue-body valve gives a mixture of 60% hot & 40% cold water. This service inlet valve conserves energy (hot water), and at the same time does not affect the washing or rinsing ability of the washer. Note: If the inlet valve being replaced has a tan or yellow body, then the washer already contains an energy-conserving valve. Email us the model of your washer and we will verify if this is correct.
