Up for sale is a part # 279769 Thermostat Kit. This item is New in the Package. This part is made to be replaced on Whirlpool made Dryers including Kitchenaid, Roper & some Kenmore models. The Kit includes 2 parts. The thermal fuse #3977394 is 352*F, it is a one time fuse, if it blows, it will not allow the heat to come back on. The thermostat # 3390291 is 250* / 122*C. The 3390291 thermostat is included in 2 kits offered, the other kit is # 279816 & in that kit it includes a 309*F thermal fuse, when replacing both pieces at the same time, << it is important >> to replace a 309 w/ a 309 (279816) or a 352 w/ a 352 (279769).
