At auction is a 4.5 KW Westerbeke Marine gasoline generator that has just been completely rebuilt and is ready to be recomissioned in your pride and joy. The unit has but 157 hours but injested water due to an improper installation. The following work was performed. The entire unit was disassembled and cleaned. The cylinder block was vat cleaned, bored and sleeved back to standard bore. New pistons and rings were fit, the crankshaft was polished, and new main and connecting rod bearings installed. The cylinder head was reconditioned, surfaced and pressure tested. The engine was reassembled with new seals and gaskets. The sea water pump was rebuilt and all water hoses replaced, including hose clamps. The heat exchanger was cleaned and serviced and a new zinc pencil installed. New points, condenser and spark plugs were installed. The generator section was cleaned and serviced and a new support bearing installed. Fresh oil and filter and a fresh coat of Westerbeke red paint. Also included is a new belt guard that was not installed when the pictures were taken. The unit was test run to verify output and voltage under load and should provide the lucky winner with many years of trouble free service. The unit weighs appx. 310 pounds and has these dimensions, 27 in. L X 18 in. W X 23 in. T, and the model is 4.5 BCG. Please look at the pictures and ask all questions prior to bidding as there is no warranty or return offered since the installation will not be overseen by myself. The listed 15.95 shipping cost is NOT correct. The buyer pays actual shipping cost which will include a pallet and wrap charge of 40.00, or the unit will be available for pick up.
