Vintage...SEARSH58GGear Drive ChainsawModel #917.62801Serial #106784I purchased this all metal 27lb. beast from an old guys estate sale. I tried for a short time to start it, thought I might go into cardiac arrest, and gave up. It does have compression and spark, but I couldn't get it to fire. It does have a leak somewhere in the fuel tank or line. It's missing the cap on the oil tank. Has a temporary cork in it now. Also, noticed one screw on a side cover missing. The bar is 18", that is there's 18" of useable chain area. They don't build 'em like this anymore! That said, if you know how to get these things running, or could use it for parts, this may be the find of the day.
