Place a bid
You are bidding on a unique and unusual incense burner that was found at a garage sale. It is made out of wood with rock accents and resembles a totem pole with a frog on top. It looks like something that would have been made in India with an Oriental feel to it. Overall, it measures 2 1/4" across at the base and 12 3/8" tall. It twists apart into two seperate pieces. The bottom piece is 2 1/4" across, 2 1/4" tall and has a holder in the bottom for your lighted incense. The top piece is 12" tall, 1 1/2" wide and appears to be made out of a piece of bamboo. Once you have lighted your incense and inserted it into the bottom section, the top part slides over and inside the base completely hiding your incense. As it burns, it come out through wood accented holes along the bamboo shaft as well as the top which is capped by a frogs head that also has a smoke hole in it. The whole piece is also decorated throughout with polished rocks. It is in excellent shape with the only flaw being that one of the wooden accents on the bottom has fallen off and is missing. If you just turn that part to the back, you can't see it anyway. Nonetheless, it is still a very neat piece and would make a wonderful addition to anyones collection. Winning bidder will pay $5.95 for shipping on this item. Thanks for checking out this truely collectable wood and rock frog topped incense burner and as usual, good luck and good bidding! |
