UP for auction is a RARE --UHL POTTERY LAMP BASE "Jane". This UHL lamp base is very old. Measures approximately 10" tall X 20 1/2" around the middle of base. The bottom base measures 4 3/4" around. Gorgeous Dark Brown Glaze. No chips, cracks, it's just perfect. The glaze has a few imperfection (kilt marks) on the one side. Picture #2 shows these few imperfection from the firing at the top. Photos are not doing justice, it shows, glare with spots & it is not that way. Very shiny & smooth clean brown glaze.Unique flourish design in the mold is all the way around the base. UHL lamp base has hole in the back (for electric cord to come out to plug into outlet.) Hole at the top for lamp kit, as well as hole at the bottom. All it needs is a lamp kit from Home Depot and Wow! you've got a beauty to treasure from long time ago!!! Very heavyweight, I will pack it very well & double boxed.
