Would you like to heat your pool for practically nothing this summer ...and next summer .... and every summer? I have for the past 3 years. As a home owner and pool enthusiest I have refined some basic solar concepts, designed and built a simple and efficient solar collector from items you can buy at Home Depot for less than $50 per collector. The materials I show you how to use will last for several years at the elevated temperatures that solar components require. No wood in my system that will weather and crack apart after one season like other Ebay sellers are promoting for $30/panel. This system works equally as well on above ground pools as well as built in pools. If you can drive to Home Depot, glue PVC fittings together, operate a hand drill and a hammer you can do this project in just a couple hours. My kids helped me and had fun as well as passed off a merit badge for scouts.

Dont be misled by foriegn and overseas sellers that have copied my plans and schematics for a quick profit. All of my Pictures, 3D drawings and schematics are original and copyright protected. I have tested and perfected this design and will answer all questions regarding its form and function. See my positive feedback. You get what you pay for ... I have purchased the fakes and they are in violation of U.S. copyright laws.
You are buying detailed plans to build the solar collector. I'm a Mechanical Engineer and you are buying a professional packet of information. Not some grass roots science project. You will also get my color schematics, parts list and color pictures of how it all will tie into your pool with simple PVC fittings. On a cloud free day you can expect to see a 7 degree increase in water per pass through the collector. You can expect to heat your entire pool 15 to 20 degrees in a few days.
The best part is that its all free and a renewable resource. You also get the satisfaction of doing it yourself. My neighbors were skeptical but soon were looking over my fence and asking questions. I will also show you how to size the collectors to your specific pool size using simple mathematical equations. This is a detail plan to build actual solar collectors. Your not going to have to spread out a bunch of black coils in your yard. You will end up with maintenace free and cosmeticly appealing collectors that you can put on your awning, roof, garage, side of your pool or against a fence.
As a bonus I will throw in how I automated my system to only circulate during peak periods. Nice to have a warm pool when you get back from vacation or a weekend trip. No more turning on the system every morning and off at night to keep the heat in the pool. I did it for less that $20. No other system on Ebay offers that information.

Actual Customer Feedback June 1, 2008
Ken,
When I first saw your add on Ebay, I thought to myself “well if it doesn’t look like it will work I am only out $10. When I got the plans, I was thinking “well maybe it will raise the temperature a little but can It really be that effective?” After building the system, figuring out how to attach it to my pump system, letting the tubing heat up the water I reluctantly turned on the pump and put my hand in front of the inlet tube inside the pool…When I felt the HOT water being pushed into my pool (so hot I couldn’t keep my hand in front of the inlet for very long) I started laughing! This is GREAT!!! In my system Im hooked up to a digital timer and it is working great. Thanks for sharing the wonderful idea. Total cost for two collectors $100, Total cost for building a system with my children that won’t cost me anything from here on out…you guessed it PRICELESS!!
Thanks for all you do,
jlt
