ON OFFER is a single architectural bookend of gypsum plaster in damaged condition, modelled on a Queen Anne house in Charlotte Street, Bath, and handmade by Timothy Richards Commissions of Keynsham. Measures appoximately 165mm in height. Various small breakages need restoring. Photo to be added.
Detail from the rear label says the square and round pillars are a rarity in a city that boasts so many fine facades.
Such bookends usually retail for at least £70 when new. Others to be listed shortly.
This and my other architectural bookends had been previously sold to a North American who would not meet the actual FedEx shipping cost of £75 for five bookends that he won. He assumed I was inflating the cost, giving me neg feedbacks because I wasn't quick enough at trying to find a cheaper method! So I'm not keen on an overseas sale...
Collect mornings normally by arrangement (07941 647904) from Unit 2 Hermitage Works, behind 7 Vale Grove, N4 1PY, via Green Lanes.
