A beautiful pair of  Antique French Cherub/Putti Candelabra, dating from the mid to last quarter of the 19th.c. This pair was purchased from a live estate auction [I am currently listing many of the items that I purchased at this auction]. Standing 21 inches tall  by 9 inchs wide. Composed of gilt bronze, heavy marble, patinated bronze cherubs. Four sided base, gilt bronze beaded - gives rise to  circular fluted column with flat top. Cherub stands on base, one facing right and one facing left, supporting Rococo acanthus leaf candelabrum which would hold 4 candles each. Please look closely at the detail of each picture, the nails, eyes, hair, expression, as only 19th c. French masters could do. These are beautiful and would look amazing in any continental interion. The patina is great, just could use a dusting. Any questions please write.
