The OME514PV-zp is a wall mounted gas appliance that delivers a continuous supply of hot water on demand. The luxury of never running out of hot water, while knowing that you are consuming less energy, is the ultimate feeling in water heating. This unit can provide enough hot water for two legal showers or any other water-using appliance! There is no storage tank keeping water hot all day and reheating it time after time. The OME514PV-zp doesn’t have a pilot light to waste gas. It is a known fact that pilot lights can waste up to 2% of your heating energy depending on your heating habits. The OME514-PV-zp also has a digital temperature display which will directly show you the temperature of the outgoing hot water (in Fahrenheit not Celsius!). This is a unit manufactured in the USA for the USA, not adapted from foreign units. You will not need to carry a conversion chart like you may need with some of our competitor's units. The OME514PV will deliver a savings of at least 50% on your energy bill, while providing an endless supply of hot water at your desired temperature. The electronic ignition means that no energy is wasted when the unit is not in use. You brag that the unit is Made in USA but in same sentence you talk about a universal adaptor. What's give ? A. Good question: The unit can be vented in multiple ways: True the wall direct (that is way we design and sell the "side vent kit" thru the side but at a longer distance (that is way we have available segments of 1 and 2 feet stainless steel pipes and vertical (new installation (same pipe links and elbows and so on or on to a existing exhaust (3 ,4 , 6 or even a flange exhaust. ) How many exhaust pieces should we design ?For a installation on a existing flue system you will need 2 elbows 2 variable pieces of pipe (depending of diameter of the replaced tank and how far from the wall was installed!) at list 3 different adaptors from the 2 inch to 3,or 4,or 5, another one for a flange exhaust. You will need to cut pipes (for that fine tuning since not 2 houses are the same!) All those pieces where eliminated and replaced with 1 piece which in one end is 2 inch and on the other is all the other mentioned dimensions. It also is flexible, extends up to 4 feet's and can form any shape to go around all those pipes, beams and so on who inadvertently are on the way! You next question probably will be : Way is 2 inch at the exit of the unit and not 3 or 4 like the competition ? In order to maintain the efficiency and reduce the condense to a minimum or even 0 you need 2 parameters: temperature of exhaust and speed of exhaust (pressure!) anything over 2 inch exhaust at the exit of the unit will not be able to maintain the air speed necessary to keep the exhaust dry at this power output .. Q: I was wanting to know if you offered Submit Best Offer on this model like you do on the OME 514PV NG model or do you offer reconditioned or scratch/dent specials . Have you heard problems of the unit not operating with really small faucet openings? A: The OME514PV-zp generates 260 gallons of hot water each and every hour. This is a Natural Gas unit. Brackets are included with the unit on request. The flow rate of the unit is adjustable down to 0.6 gallon per minute. The ZP eliminate the problems with low flow faucets and multiple floors sisters. Q: Can the OME514PV-zp be used in a direct vent application? A: Yes. The OME514PV was designed and It can definitely be used in a direct vent application, whoever a side vent flue system is required and it can be purchased on our web site. Q: For the OME514PV-zp, it list Natural Gas and Propane as gas types. Do I need to buy a conversion kit for the Propane? Is the efficiency the same for both Natural Gas and Propane? A: If you want a Propane unit, search for an auction for a Propane unit, and buy one. We do not offer conversion kits because it is not recommended. Efficiency is the same, but the valves and jets are different.
