Olympian 3100a Catalytic Safety Heater Olympian 3100a Catalytic Safety Heater Includes Optional Legs and Dust Cover 2800 Btu RV or Boat Propane Heater This is a used Olympian 3100a Catalytic Safety Heater manufactured in Spain and distributed in the U.S. by U.S. Catalytic Corporation. It was included in my motor-home when I purchased my RV from someone who had been using it in a colder climate. I don’t need the heater in Arizona, so I am offering it for sale. I have fired up the heater and guarantee it is in working condition, as per the return policy listed below. The heater operates on propane, and has a standard 3/8-inch gas input connector. An external gas regulator must be connected in line before this unit is used. Further, catalytic heaters consume oxygen and must be operated in a ventilated area. Regulator and ventilation requirements are stated on the heater. This model does not include an oxygen sensor. That being said, the reviews I have managed to find for this model on the internet are favorable. In my test, the heater put out a generous amount of heat. This unit comes with a vinyl dust cover and legs which are both extra cost options. The current model of this heater MSRP is $300 without those options.
