It is complete and has never been used.The Porter Cable 892 is a kit that features Porter Cable’s 8902 Router Motor combined with the 8901 Fixed Base. The 8902 is an electronically controlled variable speed (10,000 - 23,000) motor capable of delivering up to 2 1/4 Horsepower output (maximum). The motor features a quick-release design and can be moved effortlessly between the fixed, plunge, and other bases in the 890 Series as well as those in the 690 Series. Safety features include a dual-position switch that allows the user to turn the router on and off without releasing their grip on the handles, while a mechanical interlock disables the switch when spindle lock is engaged for router bit changes. The included 8901 base is fitted with over-molded rubber handles for control and comfort. The micro-adjustment knob allows for fine depth settings to 1/128.”The 892 is ideally suited for router table use. Remove the motor from the base, adjust bit height, and then clamp the motor from above the router table using a 3/16” hex socket (not included).
