Her Trainer tried a Gentle Leader Headcollar on her and I thought that aliens had taken my dog and brought me a different dog! It really works. This collar is NOT a muzzle; your dog will still be able to eat, drink and bite (we hope they do not bite though). You will just be amazed how your dog no longer pulls you down the street! The head strap fits high on the back of your dog's head -- the same place their mother would pick them up by when they were puppies. I am sure you have seen the way a puppy relaxes when its mother picks them up -- well, that is why this collar helps them to relax. The nose strap goes over the part of their nose that the Alpha dog would grab if it wanted their attention -- now when this headcollar is on you have their attention. This is very humane -- it beats a choke chain collar any day. This kit includes a Gentle Leader MEDIUM Headcollar, matching 4-foot leash, 10-foot indoor drag line, instructional DVD, and a 66 page training booklet. I paid over $20 for just a Gentle Leader Headcollar at a box store and it did not include anything but a shorter booklet and the collar!
