Each piece is made of solid hardwood. This moulding may be used as a casing around window and door frames, chair rail, base, or even as a crown. This trim may be used in conjunction with our rosette and plinth blocks to eliminate the need for miter joints. Blocks make installation a breeze and add a touch of simple sophistication. This moulding can be combined with our other chair rails and detail strip to make impressive moulding build-ups. This unfinished trim can be painted, stained, or clear coated to match any project or home decor. Our casings and chair rails are stain-grade. They have absolutely no glue, veneers, or finger joints. No Handling Charge and No Reserve This product is a brand new factory second. This means that the pieces were deemed unfit for retail sale because they have one or more defects such as burn marks, chips, knots, etc. Most of these defects are easily repairable through sanding, puttying/spackling, or painting; and all defects can be trimmed off.
