Our local Benzie County Manufacturer has allowed us to offer these Two 24 lb sample-packs of Northern Michigan Hardwood Fuel Bricks These are like fuel pellets, but in the shape of a brick. Hardwood Sawdust Briquettes are ecologically sound, solid fuel made from pure Hardwood Sawdust. Briquettes are made under high pressure, with No additives or binding material. No-bugs, no-dirt, and they are ready to burn when you buy them (they don't require seasoning, like cordwood does). Can be used for solid fuel burners, heating systems, etc. Excellent for wood stoves, low ash, 9000 btu per pound. Briquettes are pressed from untreated hardwood sawdust and can be used in all fireplaces from the tiled stove to the open fireplace. In relation to their volume, briquettes have a high energy value and promote efficient heating. The price of sawdust fuel bricks is about the same as fuel wood but is much more convenient to use as they do not require further cutting and chopping. They burn very well in any kind of solid fuel stove and boiler. The ignite quickly and burn cleanly. The Hardwood Sawdust Bricks don't contain sulphur and burn without producing odor.
