GSM Alarm System Complete Alarm Wireless (GSM) Autodial Alarm System includes 1 GSM Alarm System1 Siren with Flash 4 PIR Sensors 4 Door Sensors 2 Smoke Sensors 2 Key Fobs About What we have here is an alarm system which can alert you to any intrusion through a mobile phone connection. The alarm system requires a SIM card (not included) which can either be a pre-pay SIM card or contract. The SIM card can be set up with 5 contact phone numbers, when an intrusion occurs, the alarm will automatically dial those 5 numbers and alert the user to the intrusion. At the same time, the provided internal siren (110dB) or external siren box (not included) will be alerting those in proximity to the intrusion. Included with this set are 4 PIR sensors which can be placed anywhere in a room without wires also 4 door/window sensors which again work totally wirelessly. The kit also comprises 2 wireless smoke detectors which will sound the main alarm unit when smoke is detected. Advantage The main advantage of this alarm system over others is the convenience of this GSM capability. The alarm can be hidden away almost anywhere since it does not have to be near to a phone-line to operate. The alarm can be relied upon to dial in any circumstance as even if power is removed, the alarm can operate for a few days on its backup battery. The alarm can also be monitored/set/unset all through your mobile phone when you are away from the alarm. Comprises The alarm comprises four wireless PIR units, four wireless Door Sensors, two wireless smoke detectors and two remote control alarm activators/deactivators as well as all the accessories required to get the system up and running. Installation There is no setup required wit this alarm, you simply power on and it will be ready to go. All fixings are provided to allow a simple installation of the PIR into your home. Wireless The PIR and Door Sensor are battery powered with an average life time of the batteries of around 1-2 years. Wired Option This alarm system can be hardwired for added security, the base for this wiring being supplied with the alarm. The great advantage to this is that if you already have an alarm system that you are looking to upgrade, this alarm system could be wired into your existing alarm but with the added functionality provided! UPS The alarm is connected via an adaptor to maintain a charge on the unit however, the alarm also has a battery backup incorporated into it. This allows the alarm to operate for over 24 hours if power is lost. Upgradability The alarm system can incorporate a large number of extra component to suit almost any home. Alongside the conventional PIR or Door Sensor, we also offer smoke detectors; the Ion smoke detectors will incorporate into the system to give an audible warning to you if smoke is sensed. They can also be setup to call you if smoke is detected at your home whilst you are not there. Panic Buttons can be provided for those that require help in an emergency situation, again, these can be incorporated into the system to activate the alarm whenever the portable (or mountable) panic button is pressed. Each extra component that is added to the system requires no more than 1 minute to set up with the main unit. A simple sequence of button presses on the main unit will get it ready to accept any accessory; all instructions are given with the unit. Extra Components A Full selection of extra components are available with this alarm, whether you need extra PIRs, Door Sensors, Remote Controller Keychains, Smoke Detectors or Panic Alarms.
