French Rococo Shabby Chic Double Bed Click here to see additional pictures Description:This is a fabulous French Rococo design shabby chic cream / white painted carved large double bed.  The bed stands on cabriole legs with acanthus leaf carvings to the knees having a wonderful shell motif to the apron with a wonderful swept design to the footboard with roses and a scrolled cartouche with a wonderful floral 'C' scroll design.  The shell motif is continued along the bed rails, the bed having eight slats to support the mattress. Date:The bed is brand new. Condition:The bed has distressing, with one or two minor dings.  There is a manufacturing crack to the right hand side of the headboard, with some small paint chip, these being of little consequence.
