THIS EXCITING DISCUS THROWER IS MADE IN ITALY  from white carrara marble from the Carrara Mts. of Northern Italy. The carrara quarries opened 2000 years ago during the reign of Caesar Augustus. Many of the great marble statues of history have come from the marble in these quarries. These are made of white carrara marble and resin making it possible to get the shaping of these classic statues. They are made from a mold and all are hand finished in the ISAC-Santini workshops by several Italian Artisans,A.Santini, G.Ruggeri, E. Furiesi and several others, each statue comes with a Certificato di Garanzia.
