All accessories have been pre-paired to allow harmonious operation! All fixings are provided to allow a simple installation of the PIR into your home.   Wireless The PIR and Door Sensor are battery powered with an average life time of the batteries of around 1-2 years.   Zones The Alarm can set a number of zones, for example, you could have the PIR and Door Sensor set within different zones and then be able to set the alarm to just one of the components. Of course, if you were to purchase further sensors, the ability to manage your zones could mean a more flexible alarm.   Wired Option This alarm system can be hardwired for added security, the base for this wiring being supplied with the alarm. The great advantage to this is that if you already have an alarm system that you are looking to upgrade, this alarm system could be wired into your existing alarm but with the added functionality provided!   Autodial The autodial feature of this alarm will allow you to attach this alarm to a phone line and have the alarm phone you up (or any number you can think of) to warn you of an intrusion, very useful considering how many alarm sirens are simply ignored these days.   Display This alarm has a back-lit display that will allow the alarm to be set up very easily but will also allow you to observe any alarm activations. The alarm has a memory allowing you to browse the past 40 activations of the alarm, the display telling you which zone has been activated and at what time/date. The display will allow you to configure the telephone number for the autodial feature.   UPS The alarm is connected via an adaptor to maintain a charge on the unit however, the alarm also has a battery backup incorporated into it. This allows the alarm to operate for up to 24 hours if power is lost.   Upgradability The alarm system can incorporate a large number of extra component to suit almost any home. Alongside the conventional PIR or Door Sensor, we also offer smoke detectors; the Ion smoke detectors will incorporate into the system to give an audible warning to you if smoke is sensed. They can also be setup to call you if smoke is detected at your home whilst you are not there. Panic Buttons can be provided for those that require help in an emergency situation, again, these can be incorporated into the system to activate the alarm whenever the portable (or mountable) panic button is pressed. Each extra component that is added to the system requires no more than 1 minute to set up with the main unit. A simple sequence of button presses on the main unit will get it ready to accept any accessory; all instructions are given with the unit.   Extra Components A Full selection of extra components are available with this alarm, whether you need extra PIRs, Door Sensors, Remote Controller Keychains, Smoke Detectors or Panic Alarms.
