Statement:I
am a surrealist. I am inspired by one of the greatest surrealists of all times-
Salvador Dali. Surrealism has been dying since Dali's final touch. And today all
we are left with is just a word 'surrealism' without anyone understanding what
surrealism really is. Surrealism cannot truly be understood by a dispassionate
viewing of its artworks and other cultural byproducts. To understand, appreciate
and benefit from surrealism, one must embrace its philosophy, practice its methods
and accept it wholly into one's life. Surrealism is not a style of art, but a
way of life. I am not a surrealist artist, but a surrealist who happens to be
an artist. Many artists today call themselves surrealists, but they do abstract
or pop art. My work is an example of true surrealism. Most of my art comes from
my dreams free of the conscious control of reason. I cannot explain and I don't
really know what my creations are. I'm a channel between dreams and reality. All
people see different meanings in my art. I combine state of the art technologies
and conventional art medias to produce my artwork. "
Dreams - A microscope through which we look at the hidden occurrences in our soul."
"Therein
lies the social significance of art: It is constantly at work educating the spirit
of the age, conjuring up the forms in which the age is more lacking. The unsatisfied
yearning of the artist reaches back to the primordial image in the unconscious,
which is best fitted to compensate the inadequacy and one-sidedness of the present.
The artist seizes on this image and, in raising it from deepest unconsciousness,
he brings it into relation with conscious values, thereby transforming it until
it can be accepted by the minds of his contemporaries according to their powers."

invest in art?
The most obvious reason should be enjoyment: do you like
the work? Beyond enjoyment, there is the consideration of making a wise investment.
What factors determine which art investments are more likely to appreciate in
value? - The quality of the art. - The uniqueness and originality of
the piece. - The amount of detail is very important. - Is the art classified
as "fine art" or "commercial art?" Fine art has a long history of appreciating
in value. Whereas commercial art (such as pop art, abstract, landscape, etc.)
retains its value for a short while and then declines steadily. - Does the
artist's work form part of private, public and corporate collections? Copyright
