Chinese Culture Quilt and Album (KJ-14) click picture to enlarge click picture to enlarge click picture to enlarge This twin sized quilt measures 53" x 78" and is made of cotton fabrics with polyester batting. It was created with squares traded in the Chinese Culture Swap in the One Hundred Good Qishes Quilt (OHGWQ) Yahoo Group. An album containing wishes for the adopted child comes with the quilt. Each wish tells about an aspect of Chinese history or culture. The quilt is designed to frame each wish. Both beautiful and educational, this elegant quilt will be treasured for years to come. Squares and wishes traded and donated by Terri Casebier; quilt top designed and assembled by Tracy Minyard; Longarm Quilting donated by Leslie McSorely of www.TheCraftyUnicorn.com; label embroidered and donated by Patty Dillon; and album assembled by Hannah Riddle. Tracy Minyard began sewing as a child and made her first quilt in the fourth grade. Her dream of becoming a mommy came true this past year when she and her husband adopted their son from China. All auction proceeds go to provide heart surgeries for orphaned children in China.
