1 kit includes 3 filters -- just like the picture.  This is a brand new, factory-sealed, BLUEAIR brand Smokestop filter replacement kit for Blueair purifier models 501 and 601.  The Smokestop filters feature a large amount of active carbon filtration medium to remove harmful gases, VOCs (volatile organic compounds), and odors from the air.  Harmful gases and odors will normally pass right through a mechanical particle filter, but the active carbon medium neutralizes them safely. This filter type is recommended for anyone who smokes indoors, wishes to remove pet odor, or other special needs for strong air filtration. Blueair recommends changing filters at least every 6 months, due to the high-flow nature of the HEPASilent technology.   Tip:  To improve your Blueair purifier’s ability to move air, take your filters outdoors once a month and use a regular vacuum to vacuum the white side (particle filtration or incoming-air side).   Thanks for viewing our item :)
