Beautiful Blue Agave Century Plant – Drought resistant – Frost resistant   This auction is for 1 plant. Each plant is well rooted and 22 to 28 inches in leaf length. They are 2 to 3 years old. The shipping is $8.50 for the first plant and $3.50 additional shipping for each additional plant. If you want to insure them, it is an additional $1.65.   A beautiful trunkless rosette of imposing, spreading, broad and thick succulent leaves colored Blueish Gray. The deep impressions on the leaves make them look like artwork displayed in your yard! These plants are a gorgeous and smart addition to any landscape. They need minimal care and require very little water. They like partial shade to full sun and are hardy thru zone 8. They withstand drought conditions and are frost resistant to 28 degrees.   The Agave(s) up for bid, are pups from my mother plant. The mother plant is almost 5 feet tall. The leaves are just over 5 feet long and 10 to 12 inches wide, with beautiful deep impressions. It has 1 ½ inch redish brown spikes on the end and curved talon like spikes along the edge of the leaves. These Agaves will get up to 10 feet tall with the leaves reaching up to 10 feet long and just over a foot wide.   The Agave blooms in about 20 years and the blooms are between 20 and 40 feet tall.   The plants are shipped bare root, wrapped in wet material. They will need to be planted on arrival. If you prefer plants shipped in soil, please contact me for the shipping rate. They are shipped Priority Mail and arrive within 3 days after shipping. If you need them on a specific date please advise me, so I can ship them to arrive when you need them.   The Agave propogates by producing pups and from the seeds of the flower. These Agave are growing in our yard. They are well rooted and transplant well. We have many sizes. Available sizes: 3-6 inch; 8-12 inch (1 gal); 14-21 inch (2 gal), 22-28 inch (3 gal.), 30-38 inch and 40-48 inch(5 gal).
