Banana Musa VELUTINA (Baby Pink) Banana Tree PlantThis is NOT a young starter plant You are bidding on 1 plant that is 2-3' tall. The post office charges add'l shipping with the larger/taller sized box that this plant has to ship in.   One of several flowering ornamental beauties that are a colorful addition to landscape or gardens.  The flower on this banana is pink.     This small ornamental grows to 3-6 ft.  It is a gorgeous thin leaved green plant that produces a small, hot pink, fuzzy banana that stands erect (australimusa). When it is mature it peals itself back exposing a white seeded fruit just ready for the plucking.    This banana produces fruit faster than any I've seen.  The fruit is edible, but watch out for the seeds as they are large and hard.    This banana requires full to part sun and loves a rich soil.  This banana is hardy to zone 7.  If you live above zone 7, you will have to winter this banana indoors.  This makes a great banana to use as a container specimen.  The plant(s)  you purchase will be shipped bareroot, to save you on shipping, in carefully wrapped moist packaging.
