~~Treasures In Hand~~ How sweet are these? There are 2 different linens in this auction. The first is a lovely piece of redwork embroidery in a fringed wall hanging style. It features an adorable girl playing with her hoop. The edges are also stiched in red and the top is folded over to accomodate a rod if you desire. Background fabric is offwhite in a waffle weave pattern. Measures 12 1/2" x 17 1/2" with no damage that I'm noting. The 2nd linen is just a white bridge cover tablecloth. The edges are stitched in red and in 1 corner there in stitched Christine with its mirror image right beneath it! May be the faintest smudge here or there - but really is pretty clean. Measures approx. 54" x 54". Just a fun pair1 ~~~~ Through the ages, women have enjoyed bringing charm and grace to their homes and linens. Often this was accomplished with extra embellishments - a 'personal touch' if you will.
