Rembrandt R8223 Good early electric lamp. As original as they come. Great piece of Cowan (did not take it apart and look for a mark) yellow pottery for a base. These lamps go well in Art Deco design as well as Arts & Crafts design. Metal is brass or bronze with a patina plus dust from storage. Cord is good and 1 socket has original pull chain, 1 does not. This auction is for the lamp base only- 22" tall. The mesh shade that came with it is also for sale in one of our other auctions. Shade looked to be original to the lamp and it is typical of this era to have a mesh shade on these lamps, so look at the provided photo for a view of the lamp with the shade on it- you may want to buy them both!
