First off and up front,, NO shipping by me on this item. The piece is located on the westside of columbus Ohio and must be picked up at my door. I'll also consider delivery of the item if you are within 10-15 miles of me, no exceptions at all. Also, the collectibles and items you see in the item being auctioned are not included, just the furniture being offered as described. Now, on to the item! Up for grabs is this antique china cabinet. This piece of furniture is made of all solid wood too, no press board or plywood here! I'm not sure what to call it but I'd call it "sweet" or something like that! I've also heard this type of furniture referred to as monitor style? The hutch is in great shape for the age, normal bangs and bruises one would expect but not battered by any means. The finish still shows well and is original but also shows some aging and the usual minute crazing. The feet on the item are carved and ornate too, nice indeed! obtained this from an estate years ago and now I must part with it to make room for a new project. The lady that I got it from bought it in the 1940's and I do now know if it was used or new at that time. The piece is made in two pieces as the top and bottom seperate for moving. The top has sliding glass doors and two glass shelves that are adjustable for height. The bottom has two hinged doors and the obvious storage area inside, generous storage too! Great for the kitchen as you can see I've made full use of the space! I love the ole girl but it will not fit the direction I'm going with the remodel so it has to go! There is a keyed lock for the lower so you can store the booze or whatever in there however, the key is broken in two and will require a soldering job or a replacement, just the head of the key is broken so no big deal. I cannot find any manufacturers marks on the item anywhere, just a few numbers on the back, one of them is "99". The item is 67 inches tall, 16 inches deep, 4 feet wide.
