These 8 finials are all guaranteed to be vintage, not reproductions. They were all wrapped in tissue when found, some so well, they didn't tarnish and others so poorly, they're tarnished with even a spot or 2 of green. They are hollow and are made of stamped brass, except for the end screw, which is made of steel and is rusted. They are 2 3/8 inches in diameter, 2 1/8 in height, not counting the separate collar which are 3/8 of and inch in height, slightly over 1 3/8 inches in diameter so they were made to cap 1 3/8 inch diameter curtain rods. There are no cracks in the brass and only a couple tiny dents as can be seen in the photos below. I have included a photo showing the most tarnished one with the shiniest one. They are being offered with no reserve and a modest opening bid.
