Simply remove the filter cartridge from your water filtration pump and rinse it with your garden hose. The filter is made of a material called Dacron and is relatively durable as well as washable. Depending on usage and water conditions, it is recommended that the cartridges be replaced every 2 weeks. The filter cartridge should be removed and checked at least once a week. It can be partially cleaned by rinsing off with a garden hose. If it still appears dirty, it should be replaced immediately.
