The designs are "mirrored" so that when you install the shutters, the designs face in the opposite direction (if applicable). This listing is for one set (two shutters) of unfinished pine shutters with our Running Horse Design cut-out in the center. The cleats (crossbars) are designed to face forward. We place the cut-out design in the center of the shutter and make it as large as it will fit unless otherwise specified by you or if the design is a double design. Shipping costs for one set of shutters isn’t much different than shipping costs for several sets of shutters. UPS charges shipping costs by a dimensional weight, so the box may only weigh 20 lbs, however will charge for maybe 35 lbs. because of the dimensional weight (the dimensions of the box). When we ship two sets in the same box, the dimensions stay the same except for height. The shipping cost for one set will not double if you order two sets as we can ship sets together to save material cost and shipping costs. We use all new packing materials including; 3/8” bubble wrap to cover the front & back of each shutter, 8 corner protectors, and new heavy-duty cardboard boxing. We use premium packing materials to insure your shutters arrive safe and so we are protected in the event there is damage caused by the shipping company.
