It is machine-pieced and machine-quilted. The batting is 100% cotton. A wish book containing well wishes for your adopted child comes with the quilt. All the squares and wishes for this quilt were donated by members of the One Hundred Good Wishes Quilt (OHGWQ) Yahoo Group. The quilt was pieced and quilted by Melinda Keppler. Melinda has been an avid quilter for the past 17 years and also has two daughters adopted from China. The wish book was made by Esther Wiebke. All auction proceeds go to provide heart surgeries for orphaned children in China.
